I Just Have To Have This To Ride…

Have you ever started something new and before you had any experience you were convinced you already knew what you did and did not need. Well I did when I started riding.

Before I even took the class to get my license I just knew I had all the answers for what I needed. In some cases I was right. In many, many more I was so off point. Not only am I safer when I ride, I have also learned to listen to those with more experience than I have. I may not see the wisdom at first, but most people with experience have that hard won wisdom for a reason.

So my question is, what did you refuse to ride with or without when you started riding that now, with experience, you have found to be different? Tell me in the comments.
