So Many Upgrades, So Little Time

Do you know what I mean? I have only had my bike Scarlett for about 6 months have already made many upgrades to her, but I still have more that I want to do and I am planning/saving for the next ones I want to do. One is more safety related and the second one is all about performance.

First is to change out all the stock lights for LEDs. These will not only make it easier for me to see, but for others to see me in low lighting. All to often drivers do not see us on bikes and the more visible I can be the better. The biggest change (and also the most expensive) would be to change out the from headlight. The problem that the one from Harley-Davidson is very expensive and until recently the only option I had available. I am so happy I found one from Hogworkz that is about half the cost! 

The second… I want a Stage 1 conversion! I have narrowed it down to a K&N Air Cleaner, but am still deciding on the manufacturer of pipes. My husband has a set of TAB pipes on his bike and they do sound good, but I think I want a little different sound for mine. Screaming Eagle has a few options for me to choose from, though they are all a bit louder than I want. And then there is Vance and Hines. I do love the sound of theirs. If I am honest with myself, they are leading the pack.

The down side to both is that they will be close to a thousand dollars each to make the upgrades. I am trying to stay on a budget, but waiting is so hard!
