The Motorcycle Community is Awesome!

When I decided to get my motorcycle license and buy my first bike it was about taking on a new challenge. To have something for me. What I did not expect was how amazing the community of riders was going to be. Doesn’t matter if we are on the road or social media, this community is like going to a family reunion where we actually like all our family. Crazy, right?!? This has been the most supportive, caring, and encouraging group of people I have ever met in my life.

  1. Supportive

Both on the road and off, hands down this is the most encouraging and supportive group of people I have ever had the opportunity to engage with. It is rare to find someone that is cruel. And almost without exception, when there is a less than kind comment on a video or post, it is not from the community. And I have seen more than once where the community takes exception and backs the content creator.

  1. Caring

I have seen time and again when there has been a tragedy or something as simple as a celebrating a birthday, this community shows up in force. If I keep on this topic I might cry on y'all. The people I have met that ride on 2 wheels (or 3) have had the biggest and most generous hearts of any other I know.

  1. Encouraging

I say this because of how inclusive this community is. When we connect either over a meal or chatting at a stop, it does not matter what we ride, what our skin color is, what our gender or nationality… At that moment we are all riders and that means everything.

So if you are part of the community, YOU ARE AWESOME! If you are a new rider or thinking of becoming a rider, you are about to meet the most amazing community of people you will ever come across in your life.

Speaking of how awesome the motorcycle community is on YouTube, I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you that has subscribed to my channel, stops in often to watch a video, give it a thumbs up, and/or leave a comment to add to the conversation that week. Because of each of you, my channel has reach 2K subscribers! I am humbled and grateful for you all. All I can say from the bottom of my heart, is thank you for being part of the most exceptional group of people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Now get out and ride, have fun, be safe, and catch you in the next post……
