I Get Funny Looks When Commuting

Hey everyone, it is Robin the Lady Biker! Recently something happen that has forced, yes forced, me to ride my bike to work. (Did you hear the sarcasm in that statement. LOL) The thing is, when I commute on my bike I get funny looks. Like really funny. Okay… Let me show you why…

How I commute to work on my bike.

Many of you may not know that I have been a professional in the fitness industry for 13 years as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. I have recently returned to teach and take much of my own equipment for safety. So when I teach yoga or core, I strap it all to my sissy bar and luggage rack. Needless to say, it gets interesting some looks.

Let me share the back ground. This past weekend when me and my husband were out doing our grocery run to CostCo, one of the passenger door sensors kept going off. Didn't think too much about it, sensors in cars go off all the time for no reason, until we took a corner in the parking lot and the door flew open. Scared the (beep) out of me. The good news is that we just so happened to have a set of ratchet straps in the car and were able to create a poor man's door lock to get us home.

Some of you will laugh and some will appreciate the creativity in a pinch. Luckily this a recall issue and Ford is going to take care of it for me.

As we were dealing with all of this, the Media Mod that my mic lines into also malfunctioned. Big shout out to GoPro Customer Service for taking care of it and are in the process of issuing me a new unit.

That is about it for this post. Thought I would share a bit of the craziness that has been my life this week. So until next time… Get out and ride, have fun, be safe, and catch you in the next post……
