Hipcamp | A Motocamper's Review

As we have been getting back into motocamping, the tool we use often to find our camp sites is Hipcamp. Think Airbnb, but for camp sites. Does not matter if you are camping, glamping, or have an RV, Hipcamp is yet another alternative for finding camp site location.

We have been more than pleased with our experiences so far, though two have stood out in our minds more than others.

The first was Spirit Walk Retreat just outside of Lake Isabella, CA. This is a close to glamping as you can get and still being your own tent. The tent sites are beautiful and tucked away close to a beautiful creek that flows generously in the spring.

The other was Hartley Farms just outside of Paso Robles, CA. Nestled in the hills of the Paso Robles Wine Country, this location offers not only great camping, but two beautiful cabins and a wedding venue. AND if you are so inclined, they grow and process for their own line of jams and jellies.
