Did Someone Say Road Trip?!?

Yes, we are in the middle of some serious road trip planning. This summer we are planning an epic 15 day motorcycle road trip up into the Pacific Northwest. What triggered this road trip is the opportunity to attend As The Magpie Flies'  Rocky MTN Roll in Montana! We are so crazy excited.

In an effort to prepare me and my husband have been making weekend moto camping trips (like we really need an excuse) to dial in different parts of our camping gear. Now, we are at a place where we could use a little help from you.

Our first trip, in the back yard, was to figure out sleeping gear. And I have to admit that when my husband showed me the sleeping bags he was interested in, I rolled my eyes. They are not cheap. And once again I had to tell him that he was right, because the Nemo Disco sleeping bags are awesome! Staying comfortable when you sleeping is critical.

On another trip out the Sequoias was to figure out our dry bags. Have to say a big thank you to Wolfman for their Expedition Dry Duffle series. These bags are fantastic.

On our most recent trip to the San Gabriel Mountain we worked on how to pack our Road Kings to maximize the space for a long trip. We learned that we really do need two of the Wolfman bags for this trip.

The trip we are taking this weekend out to the California Wine Country will be about dialing our camp kitchen. We have most of our cookware figured out. What we now need help with is meals and bear resistant containers. Any suggestions or thoughts on these two topics would be appreciated.
