Confessions of a New Motovlogger

Motovlogging is harder than I thought it would be when I first started. Really! Not completely sure what I expected, but to do it and do it well takes planning and real effort to put together something that is worth watching. Here are the things I learned.

1) You are talking to yourself! It feels so weird to be talking into the camera when you are out for a ride. And when you pass someone on the road… Yes they do look at you funny.

2) You have to have a plan of what to say and then pray that someone will want to listen. Seriously! If you do not have a plan, there is a lot of dead air and ‘ummm’s that have to edited out.

To find out the rest, click on the video above. As a bonus to watching the video you get to see a cool bridge, a funky little mountain tavern, and a view of Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

So, to to all my fellow Moto Vloggers out there, mad respect! To do this and do it well over time takes determination. Get out and ride, have fun, be safe, and catch you in the next video……
